About Me

This is just a short excerpt for the about page.

Connor Mighell is an attorney and writer living in Texas.

Connor grew up in Dallas. He attended Baylor University, graduating with a degree in political philosophy. Soon afterward, he received his law degree from The University of Alabama.

Connor previously clerked for two federal judges. He currently works as an attorney for the Texas Public Policy Foundation on energy and environmental law and writes regularly about college football for The Solid Verbal. His work has been featured in The Federalist, The Hill, The Dallas Morning News, and at SB Nation.

In his spare time, Connor enjoys watching movies and sports, golfing, traveling, making pour-over coffee, and discussing statutory interpretation or random points of Christian doctrine. He strongly believes that breakfast food is the best food, that the Oxford Comma separates the cultured from the barbarians, and that college football should have an eight-team playoff – among other things.

You can follow Connor on Twitter here, or for more football related content (NFL, XFL, and college), follow him here.
